Artist Bio and Statement
I was born in 1985 and I like all sports and exercising. My favorite types of exercise include bowling, running, track and field, football, and participating in the Special Olympics. I also like art, painting, and watching movies.
My art looks fun and includes happy cartoons, line drawings, and animals. When I'm starting my pictures I like to practice my pre-drawing skills by brainstorming different ideas before starting a new piece. I use markers, pens, colored pencils, and watercolor paint. I like to make art and tell a story that makes people happy. My family inspires me to make my art, and music also influences my creations and helps me to share my emotions. When people see my artwork I want them to feel glad that they've seen it and to give them happy memories. My favorite part of creating artwork is sharing and putting my thoughts down on paper or canvas - I've learned I can communicate and focus my thoughts better this way. When I finish a piece of art it makes me feel good, and I feel proud of what I've accomplished. I think I can, I think I can!
