I never did art until I came to FLS, and now I get to try different art activities and go out in the community with my peers. My favorite medium to use is markers because I can make bold lines and bright colors. My body of work consists mostly of illustrations of people; I like to draw my family and create imaginary friend characters. My favorite character to draw is “The Madfarck,” a mad scientist I created. Making art makes me feel good, and I want people to see it and feel good too. My goal is to become more independent, and to focus more on my artwork without getting distracted. I am proud of myself when I am able to focus on my projects and complete a piece of artwork.
