I was born in 1989, and I grew up in Ferguson, Missouri. I’ve always enjoyed doing arts and crafts, but I have become more serious about my artwork since I started attending Fine Line Studios. I strive to make my drawings neat and orderly, and I take my time to get each line right. I often erase a lot to make things just the way I want them. When all of the finishing touches and details are in just the right places and complete, I know the piece of artwork is done. Sometimes I decide a piece is finished just as a pencil drawing, and other times I must add color to it for it to be complete. When I add color to a drawing I always try to make bright solid colors that look happy by using colored pencils, acrylics or watercolors. When I make portraits I like to use reference photos and I try to make things look as accurate as possible, but other times I draw things from my memory and imagination. The main focus of my work is portraits of people and animals, and landscapes with trees, houses, and rainbows. My work reflects my love for the people in my life, and things that make me happy. I want people to see my artwork so I can fully express my feelings and make other people happy too.
